From pictures I took at the Savanna Recreational Center in Fort Pierce at my last paint out. I was captivated by the huge cloud that came into view, so I wanted to try to capture it here. The birds were everywhere that day, so I put a few of them in as well.

"Crashing Waves"About this painting:
Created this as a lesson, from several photos. I went back later and added more waves and details to finish it out. When I teach 'follow along' lessons or demos, I keep it very simple, as we try to finish a painting in two hours. It moves quickly, and it is a lot of fun. But we only get the basic ideas in. Some students will bring them back and add their own ideas or finishing details. I usually try to change mine some, and detail it out before I post it for sale, as I always feel like it needs work.

"California Colors 2"About this painting: I painted this from pictures I took out in Oakview just before Christmas. There were actually 2 deer together here , and before that I saw 3 in a different area! I was interested in the big old oak tree up on the hill, and the bright greens really set it off!

"Guam Surf"About This Painting:
This is a painting I did when I was just 18! I saw it at my foster parent's home when I went back to visit this past fall. I lived with them when I lived in Guam, and I was 15, and then again when I was 19. I am forever grateful for their influence in my life!
This is at Pago Bay, where my older brother used to love to jump off of the huge rocks into the coming swells.....Yeah, I tried it too, but I wasn't as thrilled as he was!

"Endless Love"About This Painting:
This one is not done with a palette knife like the other angel paintings I have been doing. It started as a sunset painting, and then I added the angel.
Sunsets, to me, are always reminders of God's creative nature, as if he painted the sky for us. It is also like a glimpse of heaven and His pursuing love for us. He does not give up on us, even when we so often go our own way.
Angel paintings are available by custom orders. They are each unique and very encouraging. It is exciting to hear how people are finding comfort and a touch from God through these simple reminders of His closeness in our lives.
