About This Painting:
This is another one I did on watercolor paper. It is a harder support to work on, but nice for framing because it can be easily matted and put behind glass, even trimmed some if needed.

I painted the landscape from memories of Guam. We always had fantastic sunsets with intense colors. I added the angel for wishes of Joy.

I truly love the abstract quality of this one! Did this a few years ago; had way too much fun painting the rhythm of the water. Not sure if it is realism, abstraction, or impressionism, so I guess you will have to let me know what you think!

This is one of the first plein air paintings I did with a palette knife. I always liked the way it turned out. It was very windy that day, which added to the challenge. I felt quite proud of myself for finishing it!

Otter Creek 2, landscape, old tree, Spanish moss

"Otter Creek 2"

About This Painting:
This area gets so over grown that you can hardly see the little creek! I love the tree though. I used to live near this creek, and took long walks to get pictures in the evening sun. There is a field of dead oaks just to the left of this area, looks like a spooky movie with all the moss hanging off of the trees. (Did this one from photos a few years ago. )
