New Start, foggy landscape

"New Start"

Watched the sun come up through the fog. Painted this a while ago from photos I took. I did the whole thing in layers, adding the fog over each section, it was quite challenging to get the effect to look right.

Lead Me Home, horses in their first snow

About This Painting:
These Florida horses now live in Georgia, snow is not something they are used too!

This painting is for Diane Cletzer. Her horses are in their twenties now, so I am sure this was quite an ordeal for them! They have been together all their lives, so this painting kind of takes on a spiritual meaning if you think of home as being heaven.....
