"Red-violet Orchids"About This Painting: One of my husband's new plants is in full bloom. I just love the vibrant colors! Couldn't resist painting it up close.
I am working on a few larger paintings, so these small gems are nice to break it up and get something finished. I thought I would stop doing my small paintings for the most part, but I must be addicted to them. Once I decided to do more large paintings and stop doing these small ones, it was like saying you're on a diet and then eating everything you shouldn't!
