Heaven or Hell? Impressionism Landscape

"Heaven or Hell?"
16 x 20
Acrylic on Canvas
$975.00
ready to frame

Isn't it great to know that when we make the wrong choices, even when it is on purpose, God is still faithful to lead us back in the right direction? I have taken paths that I was so sure were part of God's will, and then found myself in situations I know were not of Him. Sometimes well meaning books and pamphlets lead us down a path that seems right. But God never intended for us to work so hard to gain his approval! He already loves us. He already accepts us. We can do nothing to make ourselves acceptable. He did it all when he took human form and died for us.

Hibiscus and Heron, Impressionism Landscape, Daily Painting

Hibiscus and Heron
9 x 12
acrylic on hardboard
Sold

I was taken by the mist and the bright contrasts. The flowers looked as if they jumped off the bush! The Great Blue Heron is not as flashy as the Great White Egrets, but they are very large, and awesome to watch on land or in the air.

Feasting Egrets, Impressionism Landscape, Daily Painting

"Feasting Egrets and Resting Woodstorks"
12" x 16"
Acrylic on hardboard
ready to frame

We get all kinds of birds like this quite often here. Sometimes I've even seen many different types of birds all feeding together. These are mostly egrets, which come in different sizes. Great White Egrets are the largest, and the Cattle Egrets are the smallest. In-between you have Snowy Egrets and Little Blue herons, which go through a white phase and look like a white egret for a while. We also get White Ibis in this mix! The Wood Storks often sit high in the trees like they are here.
