A small palette knife painting. I was thinking about my first time swimming in the ocean, and remembering when the waves in Hawaii won the fight to keep my body going in the right direction! My little boogie board had cut my belly open and I felt like I had been spinning in a washing machine! I was 13 years old. My older brother fell out laughing at me when I finally found the beach and tried to catch my breath...
